Bending and axial compression design/check for column, beam and wall sections, based on PMM interaction diagrams.
Shear design/check for column, beam and wall sections. Sections can be rectangular, circular, L or T shaped, open or closed. Wall sections can be any combination of rectangular segments. Sections can be either with or without reinforcing. Reinforced section design is based on the strut and tie method, with variable or fixed angle, as set for by the user. Unreinforced section design considers shear resistance of concrete and effect of axial compression.
Design/check of slender columns accounts for geometric imperfections and second order effects. Both Nominal Stiffness and Nominal Curvature methods are implemented. Effective length can be modified by user. Amplified moments can be reviewed at every station.
