BIM Integration

VIS is fully compatible with a complete BIM workflow, enabling the export of the entire structural model, including all reinforcement detailing, in the IFC format. This ensures seamless data exchange and interoperability with other BIM applications, facilitating collaboration throughout the design, coordination, and construction process.

Starting from VIS version 19.2.0, the VIS2Revit plugin is also available, allowing IFC models exported from VIS to be imported directly into Revit. During the import process, the plugin automatically converts the IFC data into native parametric Revit elements, including beams, columns, walls, and their corresponding reinforcement. This approach preserves the model’s usability within the Revit environment, making it easier to review, modify, and integrate with other disciplines. The plugin is currently compatible with Revit 2026 and 2027.
